The Lawson Lightning will head out on the road to take on the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawson knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet likes a good challenge.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lawson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .589. However, it's not like Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet struggles in that department as they've averaged .616. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lawson took their win against Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lightning since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
