The Hilton Head Prep Dolphins have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 66-53 to Porter-Gaud on Tuesday. Hilton Head Prep has struggled against Porter-Gaud recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hilton Head Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jason Britschge, who scored 19 points along with two steals and two blocks. Britschge is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Moore, who scored 15 points.
Hilton Head Prep's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7. As for Porter-Gaud, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
Hilton Head Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-44 win vs. Bethesda Academy on the 10th. Porter-Gaud has also already played their next game, a 76-51 win against First Baptist School on the 9th.
