The Evansville Reitz Panthers put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 74-30 win over Evansville Harrison at home. Evansville Reitz might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 44 points or more this season.
Evansville Reitz's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Norah Miller, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Miller has scored at least 25% of Evansville Reitz's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyse Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Evansville Reitz's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Evansville Harrison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Evansville Reitz will head out on the road to face off against North Posey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully North Posey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Evansville Harrison, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Vincennes Lincoln at 1:30 p.m.
