Narragansett entered their tilt with Tiverton on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Mariners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grace Blessing and Payton Abrams did most of the damage at the plate: Blessing went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Abrams went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles Abrams has posted since back in April.

Narragansett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Narragansett pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Tiverton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 15-1.

Narragansett has already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Central on the 14th. As for Tiverton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Rogers on the 15th.
