Spring-Ford has gone a perfect 8-0 against Upper Merion Area recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.
Spring-Ford blew Upper Dublin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Upper Dublin got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Flying Cardinals by a score of 5-3. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Spring-Ford got a good showing from Chris Russell, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Russell has allowed since back in March.

On the hitting side, Liam Quinn and Aidan Dunleavy did some serious damage despite the final result: Quinn went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Dunleavy went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Dunleavy has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Chris Flores was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Upper Merion Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Methacton.
Upper Merion Area saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Gordon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Spring-Ford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.
Upper Merion Area's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Spring-Ford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. It's a different story for Upper Merion Area, though, as they've only averaged .221. Will they be able to contain Spring-Ford's hitters?
Spring-Ford came out on top in a nail-biter against Upper Merion Area when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
