Necedah has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Cashton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Necedah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Cashton is ranked 11th).
Last Friday, Necedah was beaten by Bangor 72-30.
Meanwhile, Cashton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 56-52 victory over Royall.
Necedah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cashton, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Necedah lost to Cashton on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Necedah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
