Defending champion
Curtis (Staten Island) was knocked from the New York City public playoffs with a 19-0 loss to
Campus Magnet (Cambria Heights).
Curtis surrendered 220 rushing yards, including 150 and two touchdowns to
Wavell Wint. Warriors freshman quarterback Prince Dukes was sacked five times in the loss, and Curtis recorded only three first downs — all before halftime.
Fort Hamilton (Brooklyn) and first-year coach Daniel Perez stayed in the hunt with a 34-14 win over Brooklyn Tech in the quarterfinals.
James Howell caught five passes for 132 yards and a touchdown. He also had one of Fort Hamilton's three touchdowns on the ground.

Charlie Raffa passed for 255 yards and four touchdowns, including three to 6-foot-6
Brian Kensil in the first half, to lead the Friars to a 41-23 victory over Iona Prep in the Catholic High School Football League Class AAA championship game at Mitchel Field.
St. Anthony's won its ninth league crown in 10 years with the fourth undefeated season in school history.
"The undefeated part is really special," coach Rich Reichert told The New York Daily News. "I didn't see that coming."
The Raffa-to-Kensil scoring plays covered 53, 37 and 63 yards in the first half to build a 27-16 lead at halftime. Kensil finished with five catches for 155 yards.
Iona Prep senior running back Sidney Weston had 21 carries for 250 yards and three touchdowns.
In the Class AA final,
Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains) completed an undefeated CHSFL season with a 41-7 romp over Kellenberg. Stepinac took a 14-0 lead on two touchdown runs from junior fullback
Caleb Gilligan-Evans.
* Nassau County: Freeport beat Farmingdale 36-33 for its third straight Conference I crown, avenging a 42-39 Week 3 loss to Farmingdale. Jere Brown scored the winning touchdown on a 4-yard throw from Isaiah Barnes with 2:43 left to cap a 13-play, 70-yard drive. Barnes ran in the 2-point conversion.
Garden City intercepted four passes and had five sacks to beat previously undefeated Carey 27-6 for the Conference II championship. Patric Berkery (119 total yards) paced the offense with two touchdown carries and one scoring reception. His 62-yard run through the Carey defense gave the Trojans a 13-6 lead on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Lynbrook earned its first Nassau County title since 1992 with a 39-14 win over Lawrence in Conference III. Lynbrook avenged its only loss of the season, 23-22, at Lawrence in Week 7 as Travis Lock rushed for 269 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback Paul Magloire added 88 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Seaford secured its fourth straight Nassau title with a 28-25 victory over Roosevelt in Conference IV. Travis Langan's leaping 1-yard run erased an early deficit and the Vikings ran their winning streak vs. Conference IV opponents to 43 games.
* Suffolk County: Junior prodigy
Stacey Bedell ran 22 times for 242 yards and four touchdowns as
William Floyd (Mastic Beach) beat Sachem North 41-34 in the Division I championship game. Bedell's 49-yard touchdown run with 3:36 left gave the Colonials a 14-point cushion to help set up a Long Island Class I final vs. Freeport on Friday at Hofstra University.
In Division II,
Travis Houpe (30 carries for a county playoff-record 332 yards) scored three touchdowns for the fourth straight week and
Bellport (Brookhaven) beat East Islip 32-14. It was the 210th win of Joe Cipp Jr.'s 32-year career for a Suffolk record, passing the mark of Comsewogue's Tom Cassese.
In Division III,
Sayville sophomore
John Haggart carried five straight times in the third overtime, finally plowing in from the 2-yard-line for a 26-20 victory over Islip.
Jeffrey Craig scored on a 9-yard run to open overtime, but freshman soccer player Eric Rosenthal's PAT attempt was blocked by Haggart, who followed with a 9-yard touchdown run. Haggart's extra-point kick was then batted down by
Shea Mullins to leave the score tied at 20. In the second OT,
Joe Sciara recovered a Haggart fumble, giving Islip the ball at the 20 with a chance to win. But the possession ended with Rosenthal's 31-yard field goal attempt sailing wide to the left.
The third OT opened with
James Rupp intercepting a third-down pass in the end zone to set up the Golden Flashes' wining drive.
In Division IV,
John Glenn (Elwood) downed Babylon 34-26 as Ryan Rielly ran for 224 yards and two touchdowns, and passed for 207 yards and three scores. Glenn will face Seaford on Saturday for the overall title as Long Island's last two unbeaten public schools face off.
