Baseball Recap: Bradley Central Wins Going Away Against Ooltewah

After only one run in their last contest, Bradley Central made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ooltewah on Thursday. The Bears blew past the Owls 11-1. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Bradley Central got a great performance from Drake Allen as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

On the hitting side, Jackson Humble was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI. He has become a key player for Bradley Central: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 7-9-1 otherwise. Bronson Stone was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Bradley Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .640. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bradley Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10-1. As for Ooltewah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8-1 record this season.
