Althoff Catholic posted their closest win since September 20, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Collinsville Kahoks 16-14. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Kahoks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Amauri Harper and Damon Dyer certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Harper rushed for 151 yards, while Dyer rushed for 79 yards. Harper's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.

The win got Althoff Catholic back to even at 3-3. As for Collinsville, they moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Althoff Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Mater Dei at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Collinsville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kahoks will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
