The Oneida Express's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 75-43 defeat at the hands of Central Valley Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oneida in their matchups with Central Valley Academy: they've now lost six in a row.
It was another big night for Deacon Judd, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 rebounds for Central Valley Academy. That makes it five consecutive games in which Judd has scored at least 25% of Central Valley Academy's points. Tom Jacquays was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Oneida's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Central Valley Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oneida will play host again and welcome Phoenix, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Norwich at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norwich will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Central Valley Academy is ranked 43rd).
