Dk Garza Goes Supernova in Alamo Heights Victory
Alamo Heights picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dk Garza. Garza turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 34 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
Alamo Heights' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Garza and Alamo Heights will challenge Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Hank Hendrix came into the contest on a mission. Harlandale had no answer to Hendrix as he threw for 460 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards.
This season, Hendrix has thrown 20 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 297.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 69.17 passing yards per game.
