Trinidad will challenge John Mall on the road at Homecoming at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Trinidad are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
Trinidad found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-40 punch to the gut against Florence last Friday. Trinidad got a solid performance out of junior Matt Martinez, who picked up 131 yards on the ground; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, John Mall were humbled. They took a 8-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Center. John Mall's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
