Marcus took a 14-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisville on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, Marcus couldn't push the score so high this time.
Dane Parlin threw for 176 yards on 14 of 27 attempts. Karic Grennan was his top target, picking up 136 receiving yards. On the ground, Isaiah Keliikipi rushed for 90 yards.
It was another big night for Viron Ellison, who rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Ellison is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played.
Marcus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lewisville, the victory was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Plano is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Lewisville, they will be playing at home against Plano East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plano East is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
