The home team had come away the winner the last four times West Davidson and East Davidson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dragons put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp  6-0 win on Friday. Considering the Dragons have won nine matchups by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
The result came thanks to  Hannah Rollins's shutout, as she gave up just two  hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Mahala Darnell, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  stolen base.  Natalie Wilson also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 West Davidson was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Davidson only posted a  batting average of  .091.
West Davidson's record now sits at 14-7. As for East Davidson, their defeat  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-7.
As of now, neither West Davidson nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
