Ohio County is a perfect 3-0 against Russellville since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Ohio County and three for Russellville.

Ohio County came up short against Logan County on Thursday, falling 12-5.

Laynee Segers (2025) and Brylie Keown (2028) did some serious damage despite the final result: Segers (2025) went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Keown (2028) went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Talynn Clark (2026), who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Russellville lost 14-4 to Bowling Green on Thursday.

Ohio County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Russellville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Everything went Ohio County's way against Russellville in their previous meeting back in March, as Ohio County made off with a 15-1 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
