 Meanwhile, Trinidad suffered their biggest  defeat since January 11th on Tuesday. They were dealt  a  49-22 loss at the hands of Sanford. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th in Colorado, while the Mustangs are ranked 38th in Colorado).
 Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Sierra Grande, their  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 12-9.
