The Paden City Wildcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They managed a 31-27 win over Hannan on Monday.
Paden City was led to victory by Kimberly Burch and Ashton Wade. Burch scored seven points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Wade scored eight points along with eight blocks and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lexi Mathis, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Paden City's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Hannan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paden City will challenge the Cee Bees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hannan, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the on February 6th.
