Another player making a difference was Alexa Galvan, who scored 11 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Progreso, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Valley View will face off against McMullen County at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.
