The Bandys Trojans were the 53-35 winner over the Maiden Blue Devils when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bandys received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 59-44 to Maiden.
Despite the loss, Bandys still got an impressive performance from Rachel Anderson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lexi Vaughan, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Bandys' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Maiden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
Bandys will be playing at home against Newton-Conover at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maiden will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Bunker Hill at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Bunker Hill is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
