 Meanwhile, Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. Their  rough  15-8 loss to Tri-Cities Prep  might stick with them for a while. One positive for Ephrata, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Ellensburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Ephrata, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Ellensburg took their  win against Ephrata  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  10-2. Will Ellensburg repeat their success,  or does  Ephrata have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
