Sumner waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Family Community Christian as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won 16 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Sumner pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Family Community Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Sumner wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-8 victory against Harrisonburg on the 22nd. As for Family Community Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-3 win against Vidalia on the 22nd.
