The Bartow Yellow Jackets will be taking part in a tournament against the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bartow's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Santa Fe Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Bartow lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Victory Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Yellow Jackets didn't even let the Storm on the board on Thursday, marking the Yellow Jackets' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Laz Martinez looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
