Gulfport was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as D'Iberville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Teeale Wells continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for D'Iberville, scoring 26 points along with five rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Amiyah Simpkins, who scored ten points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Gulfport bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for D'Iberville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
