The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for First Baptist Academy in their matchups with Bishop Verot: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, First Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Zara Leilani Stewart, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Leilani Stewart's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Molly Loveall, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
First Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bishop Verot, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
