It was a good run, but the Willapa Valley Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by Toledo 52-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Willapa Valley has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Willapa Valley had strong showings from Hadlee Russell, who scored seven points, and Emily Wilson, who scored two points.
Willapa Valley's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2. As for Toledo, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
