Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Annandale proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lakers, sneaking past 3-2. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Annandale took Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 15-13.

Annandale's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-5.
