The Horse Creek Academy Stallions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 74-29 victory over Wardlaw Academy at home. The victory was familiar territory for Horse Creek Academy who now have four in a row.
Horse Creek Academy found their leader in underclassman Kingston Hightower, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The match was Hightower's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Abraham , who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Horse Creek Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Wardlaw Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Horse Creek Academy will head out on the road to face off against Williston-Elko at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wardlaw Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oconee Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
