The Bishop Canevin Crusaders will take on the Leechburg Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Canevin is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, Bishop Canevin got themselves on the board against Carlynton, but Carlynton never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 48-0 victory over the Cougars at home. The result was nothing new for Bishop Canevin, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Leechburg had to suffer through a rough 42-7 loss at the hands of Greensburg Central Catholic. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Bishop Canevin's win bumped their season record to 8-1 while Leechburg's loss dropped theirs to 6-4.
Everything came up roses for Bishop Canevin against Leechburg when the teams last played back in October of 2021 as the team secured a 33-3 victory. Does Bishop Canevin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Leechburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
