The Paul Robeson Huskies posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 81-52 victory over Olney. For Paul Robeson, this counts as revenge for the 60-46 loss Olney walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2021.
Paul Robeson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rakeem Dunston out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Dunston has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fred Jones, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Paul Robeson's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Olney, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9.
Paul Robeson and MAST Charter II will face off at 2:00 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Olney won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mastery Charter Hardy Williams at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Mastery Charter Hardy Williams is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
