Weiser has gone a perfect 10-0 against McCall-Donnelly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Weiser will host McCall-Donnelly at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Weiser's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while McCall-Donnelly has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
If Weiser beats McCall-Donnelly with 12 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Weiser's pitcher stepped up to hand Ridgevue a 12-0 shutout last Saturday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Madi Janicek made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That hit marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Weiser got a massive performance out of Ali Navarrete, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was Navarrete's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Shirts, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Weiser was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, McCall-Donnelly lost 10-4 to Lakeland last Saturday.

Weiser's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. Weiser has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for McCall-Donnelly, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Weiser continue to outrun the ball?
Weiser skirted past McCall-Donnelly 8-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Weiser repeat their success, or does McCall-Donnelly has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
