Lenawee Christian extended the longest winning streak in Southern Central this week by beating North Adams-Jerome, 61-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Cougars.
Bellevue and Pittsford played the most contested game in the league this week, with Bellevue eventually emerging with a 36-34 victory. Tyler Lane ran for 239 yards and caught 1 pass for 15 yards during the win.
Bellevue's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Broncos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Gerald Robison has thrown for 442 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Cole Madry has 18 catches for 357 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lenawee Christian takes on Camden-Frontier. Scott Gallagher's team is currently in second, while the Redskins are in sixth.
Camden-Frontier made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,217 from 13,495. The advance stemmed from a 43-0 victory over Colon last week.
