Seneca's Bo Taylor rumbled for the longest rushing play in Interstate Eight - Small this season in his game against Herscher last week. Taylor ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 287 on the day as his team beat the Tigers.
Westmont fell to Coal City 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Seneca's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Taylor threw for 94 yards and Devin Leo had 62 yards receiving. On the ground Taylor contributed 287 yards. Ben Barnett helped Seneca's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 21 yards.
Taylor was a force in the backfield as Ted OBoyle's team beat Herscher.
Taylor put up the best numbers through the air as the Fighting Irish topped Dan Wetzel's team. Taylor's favorite target this week was Leo, who caught 2 passes for 62 yards.
Seneca's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Fighting Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Taylor has thrown for 346 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Austin Applebee has 8 catches for 187 yards. Taylor also leads the league in rushing with 1,386 yards.
Seneca led the league in scoring this week by notching 34 points on the Tigers. Taylor in the win.
