The ILTexas Arlington Eagles posted their biggest victory since November 9, 2023 on Friday. They really took it to Advantage Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-20 win on the road. With ILTexas Arlington ahead 27-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
ILTexas Arlington found their leader in underclassman Khattab Kanan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kanan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Al-Yasiri, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The victory got ILTexas Arlington back to even at 15-15. As for Advantage Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
ILTexas Arlington's road trip will continue as they head out to face Newman International Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Advantage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
