Liberty Baptist Academy hasn't had much luck against Pahranagat Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Pahranagat Valley will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Liberty Baptist Academy extended their winning streak to three last Friday. The Knights never let Awaken Christian get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Ryan Campbell made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Pahranagat Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over Lincoln County on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted against the Lynx since April 11, 2022.
The team relied heavily on Todd Hansen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Weston Dukes was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
Pahranagat Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Liberty Baptist Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pahranagat Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Liberty Baptist Academy might still be hurting after the 16-6 defeat they got from Pahranagat Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
