Conemaugh Township has gone 8-2 against Windber recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Ramblers at 4:30 p.m. Conemaugh Township is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Conemaugh Township barely beat Cambria Heights the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 8-1 victory on Friday. Considering the Indians have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Colin Dinyar made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Bryce Conn was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Windber had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Richland 2-1 on Saturday.
Windber also got a great performance from Dylan O'Roark as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. O'Roark also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Ramblers are 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Windber's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Logan Serenko, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Mason Horner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Conemaugh Township pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Windber, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Conemaugh Township has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Windber struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Conemaugh Township was able to grind out a solid victory over Windber in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
