After losing to the Liberty Union Lions the last time they met, the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. New Hope Christian Academy took down Liberty Union 60-45 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for New Hope Christian Academy.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Williams, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tomas Winter, who scored ten points.
New Hope Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Liberty Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
New Hope Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty Union, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hamilton Township at 7:30 p.m.
