After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portola, Vasquez was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Valencia Vikings with a 12-6 victory. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

With the win, Vasquez broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for Valencia, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vasquez will welcome Castaic at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Coyotes' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Valencia, they will take on Golden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
