New Way Learning Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Thunderbird Adventist Academy against New Way Learning Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 62-34 victory.
