Barbe won the last time they faced Vinton and things went their way on Friday too. Barbe put the hurt on Vinton with a sharp 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Barbe and bumps their season record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Vinton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Barbe has already played their next game, an 11-8 win against Cedar Creek on the 22nd. As for Vinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-8 victory against Downsville on the 22nd.
