Faith Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Matthew Burton, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Aaron Ridge who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Burton pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Landon Newton, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Boys' Home, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They lost to Christian Heritage Academy at home by a decisive 55-41 margin on Saturday.
