Hermleigh had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Baird Bears 73-33. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hermleigh has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Baird, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Coming up, Hermleigh will challenge Hamlin on Thursday. Hermleigh's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Hamlin's offense will have their work cut out for them. Baird does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
