The Lower Brule Sioux posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 76-8 victory over Flandreau Indian. That's another feather in the cap for Lower Brule, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lane Gray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peyton Palmier, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Lower Brule pushed their record up to 5-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.3 points per game. As for Flandreau Indian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Lower Brule will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Takini at 1:30 p.m. on January 25th. Takini has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three matchups. As for Flandreau Indian, they will square off against Crazy Horse at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
