Bison is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Tigers a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Bison Cardinals will take on the McIntosh Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Bison is ranked 144th, while the Tigers are ranked 154th).
Even though Takini scored an imposing 67 points on Saturday, Bison still came out on top. Bison beat the Skyhawks by the very same score they won with last week: 70-67. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Bison has posted against the Skyhawks since February 12, 2019.
Rylee Veal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Bison's points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Stadler, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, McIntosh suffered a tough 75-54 loss at the hands of the Thunder on Monday.
Bison's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for McIntosh, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Bison strolled past the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 58-43. Will Bison repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
