If Blair wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bennington, they should've done a better job of containing Landon McCarville. The Badgers blew past the Bears 68-38 on Tuesday thanks in part to McCarville, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. Bennington is 4-1 when McCarville posts 15 or more points, but 1-3 otherwise.

Blair's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Slominski, who posted eight points and five boards. Slominski is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Bo Meier was another key player, putting up ten points.

Bennington now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Blair, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Bennington will challenge Scottsbluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Badgers will need to watch out since the Bearcats have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Blair, they will square off against Plattsmouth at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
