Baseball Recap: Elgin's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Elgin had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and the Ridgewood Rebels finished up their matchup with a 5-5 tie on Thursday.

Elgin's tie makes their record 3-11-1 this season. As for Ridgewood, they moved theirs to 10-7-1.

Coming up, Elgin will square off against Wheeling at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ridgewood, they will face off against Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
