Plainfield hasn't had much luck against Brownsburg recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Quakers are taking a road trip to  challenge the Bulldogs  at 6:00  p.m. Plainfield will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Plainfield beat Perry Meridian 4-1.
 Sidney Parks tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Sydney Sauri, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 Plainfield  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters  in three consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Brownsburg entered their tilt with Covenant Christian on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matches by more than eight  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Avery Toole looked comfortable as she  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits.
 At the plate,  Tatum Hunt was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Izzy Neal, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Plainfield's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 20-1. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Brownsburg, their record now sits at 12-6.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Thursday. Plainfield hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.9  home runs per game. However, it's not like Brownsburg struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 0.6  home runs.
