On Monday, Dr. Krop was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to the Wolverines. Dr. Krop has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Dr. Krop still got an impressive performance from Emmanuel Ferguson, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ferguson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Washington, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Belen Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Orlando Roche, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Carlos Santana was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Dr. Krop has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Belen Jesuit, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will take on the Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. JC Bermudez Doral is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Belen Jesuit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Victors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Miami Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
