Windsor was led to victory by Maxim Copeland and Aj Robinson. Copeland picked up 128 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Robinson threw for 199 yards and four touchdowns.
Newington's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-5. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Windsor, Enfield, and Manchester. As for Windsor, the victory was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
