This season hasn't been kind to the Eagle River Wolves, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a hard 53-34 fall against Bartlett on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Eagle River in their matchups with Bartlett: they've now lost three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Eagle River lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brooklyn Rollman. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Rollman also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Palozzini, who scored five points along with nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Eagle River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Eagle River bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bartlett, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
