Greenbrier East has gone a perfect 10-0 against Oak Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Spartans will look to defend their home field against the Red Devils at 12:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Greenbrier East didn't have quite enough to beat George Washington and fell 6-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reagan Cline made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Haylee Heaster was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill entered their tilt with South Charleston on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Black Eagles with a sharp 14-6 victory. While the Red Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Mary Butcher spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, Meeka Miller was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sadie Branch, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Oak Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Greenbrier East, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Oak Hill's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Greenbrier East hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. It's a different story for Oak Hill, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Greenbrier East's hitters?
Everything went Greenbrier East's way against Oak Hill in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Greenbrier East made off with a 13-4 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
